This playlist features nothing but Portal related content. There are a lot of fan made videos that really shows how much people love the game. I love both games and they are a lot of fun to play. If you haven’t played them yet, you should check them out. It is easily the best puzzle franchise around.
1) GLaDOSiri on iPhone 4S
I knew it wouldn’t take long for someone to take Apple’s newest feature and turn it into a Portal joke. When it comes to AI, GLaDOS is the best around. I do wish that Apple would release a way to change Siri’s voices and have GLaDOS as one of them, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. š
2) Mari0
If there was a more perfect cross over that has yet to be scene, but this fan based game looks to be about the best thing around. It isn’t finished yet, but you can follow his progress on Stabyourself.net. I can’t wait for it to be finished because I am sure to spend hours on it. He is also working on co-op, which would be epic.
3) A Day in the Life of a Turret
This is a fairly old video, but it is funny none the less. The turrets are one of the things that makes portal so much fun. They say the funniest things. Machinima always has some of the best fan content on the web.
4) No Escape
This is the best Live Action Portal video to date. A short film by Dan Trachtenberg, a guy I’ve never heard of, that was released in August. In the first week alone it hit over 1 Million views. If you haven’t seen it yet, then I would be a bit surprised, but it is really awesome to watch again and again.
5)Ā Aperture: A Triumph of Science
This is a really long fan made video about Aperture Science. It is 20 minutes long and can drag at times, but overall it is funny! If you area Ā fan of the Half-Life franchise, then I highly recommend you take the time to watch it all. Although I don’t think their Cave Johnson actor comes anywhere close to the masterful work of J.K. Simmons in Portal 2.
6) Turret Opera
You’ve probably seen the ending credit song of Portal 2 many times because it is easily one of the best ending tracks in any video game, but something far less common to find people posting is the short Turret Opera at the end of the game. It is somewhat of a spoiler, but it is really awesome to watch and just gives an epic feeling to the end of the Portal 2 game.
