That is a complicated love diagram... Even if it is slightly off.

We finally get a more in depth look at what has happened over the last 7 years. Bisca and Alzack getting married was obvious in the last episode since they had the same name, but I was surprised to see that they had a 6 year old daughter already. Romeo’s fire magic is pretty cool, although he is still too weak to use it well. Maybe later down the line we will get to see a good fight with him, but I am not holding my breath for it. It was interesting hearing about the new guild strengths. Not surprising that Blue Pegasus is up there, but Lamia Scale being one of the strongest now is. I am curious to see if Lyon’s magic has changed over the last 7 years. It was funny watching Lyon fall in love with Juvia at first sight. I hope that garners some jealousy with Gray so we can finally see something come out of that relationship. There is still a bit left unsaid like we don’t know what is happening with Zeref, which I am most interested in knowing. Also they kind of faded off with out giving us the details on Jellal.

I really liked this episode because in the last one it really only highlighted the fact that the remaining Fairy Tail members had it rough, but I never even considered the fact that the ones that got “suspended” in time would also be suffering a lot from the time change. The emotional crutch of this episode revolved around Lucy. I kind of guessed what was going to happen, but it still kind of tugged at my heart a bit. It is probably the fact that she just missed her father. Overall I am curious to see where Fairy Tail heads from here. I will say that the next episode kind of looks like filler… I wouldn’t be surprised either since Fairy Tail is some what catching up to the manga.
